Stavroula (Roula) Balanika is an Athens-based attorney, focusing on corporate and civil law with over 15 years of experience both in consulting and litigation. Roula advises on a broad range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-country mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, incoprorations and general corporate work across a wide range of sectors.
Roula has also extensive experience in administrative law and public procurement, having advised and represented companies for a numbers of years on public tenders, injunctions, appeals and all relevant matters in a number of market segments.
Whilst corporate advisory and public procurement are her current and most recent areas of focus, Roula has also been involved in a number of cases involving other areas of the law, and has a very successful track record in litigation.
After working for several years in various firms in Athens and gaining significant experience, Roula decided to start her own practice in 2013.
Roula is fluent in Greek and English.
Marina is also an Athens-based attorney and graduated from the Law of School of the Democritus Univerisity of Thrace in 2019. She has also attended for 2 years specialized courses in Private International Law at the Academy of International Law in Hague, during which she also worked as an internet at the Embassies of Chile and Canada in the Netherlands.
Marina holds a Master's Degree in Private International Law and International Trade Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a diploma thesis on "Premarital contracts within the European Union". She has also worked in companies specializing in Private International Law and in particular International Commercial Law, as well as in law firms specializing in Civil, Commercial and Family Law.
Marina is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
